Working Links

We have been successful in tendering to deliver part of the Working Links contract for Merthyr Tydfil and Blaenau Gwent. The Working Links project works with unemployed people and organisations to provide work experience and new skills that will help them find work. We have worked with 120 clients, 30 a months, from this scheme. They have been involved in delivering a wide variety of projects at Fedw Hir and out in the Community.

The work they carry out is very wide ranging and has included litter abatement, vegetation clearance, construction of raised beds, installation of benches and fishing platforms, footpath clearance, and tree planting.
